Position Summary The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and sales growth within an assigned territory in the Houston area. This role focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing customers through in-person visits, product demonstrations, and consultative selling. The intent of this role is to get product into the hands of customers so they can experience the quality and savings that NorthSky has to offer. Key Responsibilities Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new customers within your assigned territory, introducing them to NorthSky’s product range and value proposition. Sales Growth: Grow sales with existing accounts by deepening relationships, understanding customer needs, and offering tailored solutions. Face-to-Face Selling: Conduct regular, in-person customer meetings, product presentations, and site visits to establish credibility and trust. Account Management: Maintain accurate customer records, manage a sales pipeline, and ensure timely follow-ups using NorthSky’s CRM system. Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales and Customer Service to align territory plans with overall sales strategy and KPIs. Feedback & Insight: Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback, market intelligence, and competitor insights with the broader team. Sales KPIs: Consistently achieve or exceed key performance indicators, including: New customer acquisition Revenue growth Territory penetration Sales cycle velocity Customer retention Qualifications 3-5 years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in industrial supplies, MRO, or a related industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a territory-based role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust quickly and influence decision-makers. Strong self-motivation and resilience—thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. Passion for helping customers solve problems and save money without compromising quality. High degree of energy, enthusiasm, and drive; commitment to personal and professional growth.
