Position Summary: Rimrock facility is a residential facility dedicated to providing support and guidance to residents in a therapeutic environment, helping them to achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being. The RTC team works in collaboration with a treatment team in order to implement therapeutic programs and activities designed to promote social skills, emotional regulation and personal development in its resident.
Schedules: 7am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 11:30pm or Overnights
Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 hourly
Location: Rimrock Arizona
Job Duties:
- Ability to meet core competencies of a Behavioral Health Technician
- Communicate effectively with team members, parent/guardians, case managers, and clients.
- Provides direct care services in accordance with the treatment plan.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of redirection and de-escalation techniques.
- Direct support engaging with residents, providing emotional and practical support in individual and group settings.
- Required to meet productivity expectations.
- Crisis intervention by responding to emergencies and crisis with appropriate interventions, ensuring safety and well-being of all residents.
- Engage clients, encourage positive peer interactions, redirect challenging behaviors as needed an encourage healthy socialization
- May provide assessments and therapeutic counseling based on completion of competency requirements.
- Behavioral monitoring by observing and documenting residents' behavior, progress and challenges, reporting any significant changes to the treatment team.
- Plan and implement therapeutic activities for clients taking in to account budget, age, and gender.
- Accurately complete all documentation including but not limited to cash log, activity log, medication logs, transportation log, and client case notes.
- Maintain a clean EmotiCare facility and vehicle, complete laundry, dishes, and rudimentary house cleaning.
- Must maintain the following: Fingerprint clearance card, CPR/First Aid certification, Clear TB test, Clear Motor Vehicle Record, Emergency safety response, Fraud and Abuse, Driver Refresher, and Self-Administration of Medication trainings annually
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Education Equivalent with 2 years of related experience or a Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable in Arizona
- Must pass background criminal history, fingerprint check, and drug test
- Current Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid Certification, CPI Certified, and Emergency Safety Response training a plus
- Maintain all required annual training.
