The Motorsport Competence Group is looking for motivated and flexible Race Engineer at our headquarters in St. Ingbert / Germany.

General Summary:

Responsibility for managing the engineering of our GT cars and driver at all events in international GT racing
Prepare and deliver a performance plan for each race and test event.
Extract the maximum performance from the car and driver at each event.
Assist to develop the performance of the car and team.
Work within the team to collectively develop the engineering capability of the team.
Work independently and within a team group to define and deliver performance projects for races and tests events.
Must have previous motorsport experience (GT3, F1, LMDH, FE, WEC, GTWC or similar).

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Degree or equivalent qualification.
Proven high level Race Engineering and Performance Engineering experience.
Strong Science, Physics and Data driven background and work ethic.
Good communications skills with a strong requirement to work effectively
within a team to develop, progress and adopt performance concepts.
Work calmly, professionally and make good decisions within tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
A positive approach and a willingness to support colleagues.

Allgemeine Aufgaben:

Verantwortung für das Engineering unserer GT-Fahrzeuge und die Betreuung der Fahrer bei allen internationalen GT-Rennveranstaltungen
Erstellung und Umsetzung eines Performance-Plans für jedes Rennen und Testevent
Maximierung der Fahrzeug- und Fahrerleistung bei jedem Event
Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung der Fahrzeug- und Teamperformance
Zusammenarbeit im Team zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der technischen Kompetenzen
Eigenständige und teamorientierte Umsetzung von Performance-Projekten für Rennen und Testveranstaltungen
Erfahrung im Motorsport erforderlich (GT3, F1, LMDH, FE, WEC, GTWC oder vergleichbare Serien)

Spezialisierte Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten:

Abgeschlossenes Studium oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Bereich Race Engineering und Performance Engineering auf hohem Niveau
Starker naturwissenschaftlicher, physikalischer und datengetriebener Hintergrund sowie eine ausgeprägte analytische Arbeitsweise
Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und Fähigkeit zur effektiven Zusammenarbeit im Team zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Performance-Konzepten
Fähigkeit, unter engen Zeitvorgaben und hohem Druck ruhig, professionell und entscheidungsstark zu arbeiten
Positive Einstellung und Bereitschaft, Kollegen zu unterstützen
Arbeitsberechtigung in Deutschland erforderlich
