REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years experience
Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Scrub; CVOR experience; must be proficient in scrubbing Cardiac cases.
Certs: BLS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, level 1 trauma experience.
JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:1
Shift: 10 HR Day 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 16:45).
Call Requirement: 4 10-hour shifts M-F will call on the days scheduled, there could be a week they would work 5 days if the come in on their call weekend.
Float Requirement: to main OR on same campus if no volume in CVOR.
Weekend Requirement: Call shift every third weekend
**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, TAVR, Laser lead extractions, Aortic Root, Carotids, Thoracic cases, Pericardial window, ECMO, Impella.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: manager determines
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
SCRUBS: provided, blue
