We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable CNA Medication Aide to join our team — someone who is passionate about resident well-being and who believes in the power of care that goes beyond tasks to foster dignity, comfort, and connection.
What You’ll Do
As a CNA Medication Aide, you’ll play a key role in supporting our residents’ health while being part of a collaborative team that strives to enrich the lives of those we serve. Your attention to detail, care, and teamwork will ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and personalized support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, administering, and documenting medications accurately and according to physician orders
- Monitoring for medication interactions, side effects, and changes in resident condition
- Communicating with nursing staff about resident status and concerns
- Ensuring medication supplies are properly stocked, organized, and stored
- Providing respectful personal care as needed, always honoring residents’ preferences
- Supporting infection control and safety practices to promote resident well-being
- Engaging with residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and professionalism
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive, solutions-focused work environment
- Supporting the training of new Medication Aide team members, as needed

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- This employee must have successfully completed course work and examinations to obtain certification as both Certified Nurse Assistant and Medication Aide Certified.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Proficient computer skills preferred
- Strong self-management and organization skills
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (open to change).
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
- May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
- Possible exposure to household chemicals.
- Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- May be subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
