- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including evaluating emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning.\n
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs, in collaboration with the healthcare team.\n
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.\n
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects, documenting responses appropriately.\n

Crisis Intervention:

- Respond to psychiatric emergencies, such as suicidal ideation, aggressive behavior, or severe anxiety.\n
- Implement de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions to ensure patient and staff safety.\n

Therapeutic Communication and Support:

- Establish trusting relationships with patients to facilitate open communication.\n
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.\n

Qualifications:

- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.\n
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.\n
- Certifications:\n

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\n
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification\n
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred.\n
