Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support our physical therapists in providing top-quality care. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by physical therapists to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals
Instruct and guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising physical therapist
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to facilitate ongoing improvement
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and stored
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current South Carolina PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply
