Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Milford, Delaware. This role focuses on helping residents improve their independence, functionality, and quality of life through effective and personalized occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and capabilities.
Implement therapeutic activities focused on enhancing daily living and functional skills.
Document patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment as needed.
Educate residents and their families on exercises and practices to continue at home.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment during all therapy sessions.
Adhere to facility protocols and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Occupational Therapist license in Delaware or eligibility to obtain it.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
