Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Role $1,711-$1,811 per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Media, Pennsylvania. In this role, you’ll support Occupational Therapists in providing therapy that enhances residents' independence, functionality, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to resident goals.
Lead therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being.
Document patient progress accurately and collaborate on treatment adjustments as needed.
Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
Maintain a safe, positive environment for all therapy sessions in compliance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
Active COTA license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
