Job Description:
As aTravel MLT, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing a variety of lab tests across clinical disciplines. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing clinical laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing specimens accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment
- Verifying and reporting results in compliance with facility protocols
- Collaborating with clinical staff to support patient care decisions
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT Certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum1 year of recent clinical lab experiencein a hospital setting preferred
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Familiarity with lab regulations and quality control procedures
