AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada.

Shift: 3x12, Days, 06:45 - 19:15

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call Requirements: Call is not required

Licenses: NV RN license required prior to start

Unit Description:8-bed Medical ICU. 1 Critical Care Technician per shift. Chest pain accredited center but no Cath Lab or IR - patients are transferred to Renown Regional campus for these services. ICU Charge RN is also the Rapid Response RN. Set group of intensivists, rotate weeks - on-call 24/7 during on week.

May be required to float "in-house" to Med/Tele or ED/GSU to flex/task. Depending on staffing needs, can also float to Regional campus (trauma/surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, Step-Down ICU, Tele units). Must be able to pick up an additional 12-hour shift every 4 weeks.

Hospital Information: Extremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center

Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX) Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required to be considered. Travel experience preferred.
