Contract Duration : 13 Weeks
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,830.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,030.00 Per Week
Job Summary: we are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to assist interventional radiologists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The technologist will operate specialized angiographic imaging equipment, assist with procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stenting, administer contrast agents, and ensure the highest levels of patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Operate angiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to capture high-quality images.
Administer and monitor contrast media per protocol.
Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedure rooms.
Monitor patients during procedures, responding promptly to adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
Perform regular maintenance and quality assurance on imaging equipment.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating angiographic equipment and assisting in procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stenting.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Licensure & Certifications:
Valid Radiologic Technologist License issued by New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
One of the following ARRT Advanced-Level Certifications:
ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiography
ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiography
