Pieper Memorial Veterinary Centeris expanding, and we are looking for aVeterinary Anesthesiologistto join our hybrid ER/Specialty/Primary Care hospital inMiddletown, CT.This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team with experience growing veterinary specialty services that will offer you the support you need to be successful.

Pieper's state-of-the-art facility includes multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA, and volumetric capnography. As an added bonus, we enjoy an Antech reference laboratory in the building with an on-site clinical pathologist.

Our specialty departments include Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, Emergency & Critical Care, and Oncology. We have a seasoned team of primary and emergency veterinarians, and our doctors are supported by dedicated technicians, assistants, and department-specific client liaisons.

At Pieper, we prioritize a doctor-led, medicine first approach and are proud to offer equity options to our veterinarians. We believe in an integrated veterinary system that brings together veterinarians and medical teams from every type of practice to support our community. Pieper Veterinary is committed to education and in addition to our rotating internships, specialty internships, and residencies partners with Middlesex Community College to provide clinical training for their AVMA accredited veterinary technology program.

Owned and operated by veterinarians since 1937, our family of hospitals in Connecticut include six primary care and two urgent care hospitals. Additionally, we have partnered with hospitals in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Maine.
