Patient Care:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-operative needs.\n
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.\n
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.\n

Clinical Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.\n
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and any changes in condition.\n

Collaboration and Communication:

- Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.\n
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.\n

Technical Skills:

- Operate and maintain medical equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacuums, and telemetry monitors.\n
- Perform procedures such as catheterizations, wound care, and IV insertions.\n

Patient Advocacy:

- Promote patient safety and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.\n
- Address patient concerns and ensure comfort and dignity throughout the care process.\n

Emergency Response:

- Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions, including initiating life-saving interventions when necessary.\n
- Actively participate in code teams and rapid response scenarios.\n

Qualifications:

- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.\n
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.\n
